The Lloydminster Minor Hockey Association Executive Committee is pleased to announce the hiring of a new General Manager.
Dan Auchenberg has accepted the position as the General Manager, of our Lloydminster Minor Hockey Association. Dan's first day with us was Monday June 5th.
Dan has an extensive resume in the hockey world, as a parent, coach, educator and instructor. Dan comes to us from Vimy Ridge Academy in Edmonton where he had been a part of their hockey program for 23 years.
As you may already know, Dan was also hired to be the Head Coach of the U18 AAA Elite Female Steelers program as well. Dan has an extensive background in coaching, from the AJHL, and both Elite Male and Female hockey in Alberta and all the way down through all Minor Hockey levels. He had been coaching the U18 AAA St. Albert Slash for the past 8 years and coached them to 3 straight Esso Cup National Championships.
With Dan's past experience in coaching and developing athletes we are very excited for him to join our team and be the Hockey Leader for our Association. Dan will provide us with a great resource for both the development of our athletes and also the development of Coaches in our association, leaning on his 35 plus years of coaching experience.
Dan, alongside his wife Daisy and family have moved to our community. Dan is very excited to get to know our members and lead LMHA.
Sincerely,
LMHA Executive Committee
